Slowly getting there

So as we all know, life has a way of slowing down ANY project that you wish occupied ALL your free time. My Ol' lady recently started school, as a full time student she now only has the time to be part time mom with all the homework she has. So I have stepped up and on top of full time bread winner, I now am full time dad, helping out with the kiddos homework, cooking dinner, and all the filler stuff in between that a 7 year old daughter requires of you.
That being said, my shop time has been drastically cut back. But this weekend I managed to get a few hours in.
I got my tail light mount made and tacked in place and have my license plate mount made, welds are kinda nasty on it though so I got a little grinding and cleaning up to do. Once that's done it'll get tacked in. Also grabbed some ram board construction floor cover (basically thin, dense, tough cardboard) from work and used that for my seat pan template.
Cold weather always means more shop time, come on winter!

Custom mailbox

So I started this as a fathers say gift and it looks like mow it might be ready for his birthday in December lol. Just not enough time in the fucking day to do all the cool shit I want to do each day. Panels are done now though. Need some more low tack tape and I can tape them off and shoot the body of the box gloss black. Got my lettering figured out finally, that shits harder than it looks. So once the weather gives me a little break ill shoot the black and pull the tape and stripe the panels with some 1shot metallic silver and then do lettering on one side and a graphic on the other.

Fender and sissy bar done.

Got down on it with brother Bill for some rear fender mounting and sissy bar building. For my first one I think it came out tits Godzilla!

Skeets chop

Our Brother Skeeter tore his ride down for fresh spritz of the shiny stuff. Tins are done and being put back in their rightfully spot as we speak. Pics coming soon so stay tuned!

My first fender

Pop had some paint blister and chip when his fender mounts broke and the tire rubbed the fender so I did my best to hide the damage without pulling and re-spraying the whole fender.

Picked this up at the cycle salvage. I think I'm going to keep it green for awhile.

Battery box mounted

A couple 5/16 allen wrenches and hex nuts and a bit of drilled flat strap and waalaa, its on there.
My welding is improving, finally.
