Side covers clean

Started cleaning up the side clutch and stator covers for the xs650 yesterday, already look way better, in fact I kinda dig the way the 3m scotchbright wheel scuffed em, might just run em the way they are. Ill get pix later today, forgot yesterday.

Finished

So this stated out as an idea for a magnetic Scrabble board for my sister in law. Her being a poet and artist it morphed into an idea board. I took a piece of hvac tin and cut it down, primed it then did 3 layers of the neon green. Laid out the lace and hit it with the plum and then 3 layers of gloss clear. We then took 240 Scrabble letters and cut up magnetic business card backing and stuck it to the letters. We also bought a pack of the little magnetic word games. Magnetic inspiration board!

Injun Tom

This legend of a man (at least in my mind)  has been around the block a few times. Sober now for 20+ years, he was an instrumental part of helping my old man achieve the same, thus helping save his life. Injun and my Pop had a shop together for awhile when I was still just a little grommit of a skater punk.  He has always been one of the looniest cats I know but always has this laid back, chilled out, fuck it lets ride atmosphere about him. Truly one of the best dudes I know. Injun, we love ya brother!
